Introduction to style
Style meadow is one of the few architectural styles that originated in the United States. Short lifestyle has evolved, matured and decreased in popularity between 1900-1920. It was developed by a group of architects in Chicago, which are associated with Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Sullivan and his mentor (Adler and Sullivan) The architects are known Prairie School (although he never really had the school). Winslow House in 1893 may be the first Wright prairie style house and was declared the undisputed master of the house and the prairie. The style comes directly from Chicago, Wright established his first architectural practice in the suburb of Oak Park. Oak Park, as we have seen, by a forest adjacent River, Illinois, has one of the highest concentrations of residential buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright in the world, as well as masterpieces range of other well-known architects of the Prairie School.
Designers
* Frank Lloyd Wright - (wiki) - As the creator and the undisputed master of the house said Prairie style. Wright was a man interesting and complex whose architectural style is as diverse as his eventful life. Wiki is a good place to start, but all stories Wright stated in several volumes by several biographers and even filmmaker Ken Burns.

Maher has finally established his own practice. This was the main architect of the Prairie School. Wiki is a good starting point, be sure to check the reference links in the article.
The main job of Maher: cozy home
* Spencer was a friend of Frank Lloyd Wright, who, unlike Wright never gave references to tradition in his work. * Robert C. Spencer, Jr. - (no wiki bio) For this purpose, it is influenced by two years spent in Europe scholarship Rotch travel. Work planned Spencer used geometric and light games and shade.
The most important work of Spencer Public Library Chicago (inside), published more than 50 articles, including a large article on the work of Frank Lloyd Wright in a series of architectural review in 1900.
Tallmadge was a well-known Chicago architect who designed a series of buildings. Tallmadge was tragically killed in a train accident in Douglas County, Illinois, in 1941. It is interesting that the only dead person looks. As Vernon Watson partners, signature, Tallmadge and Watson designed many Prairie Style buildings. Then they moved to a more traditional style, and designed more than 25 churches throughout the Midwest.

Eben Ezra Roberts (photo) - (wiki) - Roberts was the main architect of the Prairie School, although his only professional association with Frank Lloyd Wright was a competitor. Vies with him practicing Roberts feuded with Wright in Oak Park Roberts only designed more than 200 homes. Roberts had his own interpretation of the aesthetics of the prairies and shows in his work.
